In FLOW, we create opportunities for young people to develop skills and gain confidence using photography, leading into creating a film!
Using an evidence-based Theory of Change Model, Beyond Empathy will deliver a multi-phased creative arts project using photography and film and other arts disciplines as a mode of engagement, skill development and promotion. Participants aged 12-18 will build success by first connecting with photography, presenting their work in-community then moving on to a multi-arts project that will focus on the resilience of people in their community. The final product will be celebrated through an artistic exhibition/screening launch event that showcases their work, builds their sense of community pride and builds their confidence in seeking further training and employment.
